Just rewatched this last night. What a great flick! I love the dialouge. Its this constant witty back-and-forth. A lot of fun to be had here.

A nit: Early in the film, the lead Blue Meanie has a long rant about how they never say "yes" yet just moments later, he does indeed say yes without any guilt.

Man, talk about a movie that's difficult to nitpick...

Why does the Flying Glove have five fingers when all the Blue Meanies have six?

During the live action bit at the end, Paul's souvenir is the word "Love," obviously a refference to the "All You Need is Love" sequence. Thing is, it's JOHN who sings and makes all the words appear in the film.

Not a nit but an interesting tidbit: one fo teh big deals about the 1999 rerelease was that it restored the "Hey Bulldog" sequence that had been cut out of the original American release. However, the "restoration" of this scene actually results in some footage from the other version being lost. In the "whole" edition, the Beatles free the Lonely Hearts Club Band from the glass ball in a rather quiet manner. The ball melts away, the two bands talk for a bit, then "Hey Bulldog" starts. However, in the "Bulldog-less" edition, the Bealtes sing a few lines of "Baby You're A Rich Man" as the ball disapears. Frankly, I like that song a lot more than "Hey Bulldog" and was sorry to see it go. Also, on the otehr end of the restored scene, the charge against the Blue Meanies seems to be different in both versions, featuring very different music (and I seem to recall giving a cool "Beatles to battle!" shout that's not missing)
