Good movie.

However, there’s a couple of things I don’t understand here.

Okwe eventually finds out the heart that was lodged in the toilet in Room 510, which Juliette pointed him to, was the result of a kidney donor who died during his operation. But why would the guy dying cause the people conducting this operation on his kidney to take his heart out? Why stuff it down the toilet, which only creates a clog that will bring attention to what has happened? And what happened to the guy’s body? If they found some way to dispose of it, then why dispose of his heart in this different way? None of this makes any sense.

Senay appears to be a devout Muslim, in that she freezes when Okwe jokingly implies that the dish he prepared for them has pork in it. And yet, she drinks wine?

At the end of the movie, is Okwe going back to Lagos permanently, or just to pick up his daughter and then to go to New York with her? I assumed it was the latter, but Senay acts as if she’s never going to see him again, and in the final shot, Okwe tells Valerie that he’s “coming home,” which sounds like it means that he’s going home to stay. But that didn’t make much sense to me, because even with a new passport, someone might recognize him.
