Great film, much better than "The Spirits Within" (It had a plot this time, and fighting, lots of fighting, mainly with Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, and some of his lackneys, and people we cared about) although the problem is with the game/movie Physics. Mainly, everyone can jump like Super Mario on the Moon. Which, is Okay, Dragoons do jump pretty high, it's just this skill would have been very useful in the actual game.

RUMINATIONS

- This movie has hundreds of nits based on improper physics, but since I don't want to point out all instances that physics aren't followed (the jumping and so forth), I'll just make a blanket statement. There are a few instances which go beyond the jumping and throwing weapons issue which I caught and will mention.

- I'll also add that I've never played the game so many of my questions would probably be answered in it...

NANJAO

- The 3 motorcycles chasing Cloud in the beginning remind me of the pod racer scene where Sabulba is almost going to rear end Anakin in Star Wars I.

- The dog/creatures attacking Cloud at the beginning remind me of the mummy returns ending battle

- The fight physics of this movie are worse than the matrix.

- what's the signifigance of the sword cloud has sticking in the dirt.

- The phone ring tone was cute, playing the theme from final fantasy.

- What's with the wolf when Cloud and Tifa are in the church wreckage and again in the end of the movie.

- What does that drinking the water in the river(?) signify? Is it supposed to be baptism in the name of Seth?

- What is reno's stick weapon? It looks like a handheld telescope.

- The final battle is like the end of matrix 3, but with swords.

Nits

- In the beginning, Reno decreases the chopper's altitude vertically. This would be rather difficult as the chopper would be trying to fly through its own wake. It'd be impossible to fly smoothly down as its shown.

- I'm not sure exactly how Cloud's motorcyce turns. The front wheels are held by long brace so they don't turn. Is it the back wheel? I know leaning will allow him to turn, but he'd still need to turn the wheels at some point to turn when he's not going super super fast or if he wants to turn a street corner.

- The sign falling on the black "good" guy should have killed him.

- It's amazing that the creature falling doesn't kill anyone...

- The Behemoth or whatever it is shouldn't be able to fly based on its wing size.

- How does the phone work under water? and in a cave essentially; even if it was dry, it wouldn't pick up any transmissions.
