Speed Racer was set in, basically, the real world with some fantasy/sci-fi elements. The look of the world in that trailer looks like it was done by the people who did Lazytown.
I read somewhere that Racer X WILL NOT be Speed's older brother Rex who ran away from home years ago.
If that's true, then the film is ruined.
Yes, at the end Racer X will take off the mask and say "Speed, I am your sister."
According to the Lake Co. Illinois newpaper, most of this movie will be done with CGI...like Beowulf.
This movie got a lot of mixed reviews. However, the good news is, Racer X is believed to be Rex Racer. The rumors that said otherwise were wrong.
