A coming out soon movie where Nicolas Cage portrays Sgt John McLoughlin of the NYPA on that fateful day 9/11. While it is based on real events and real people I wonder how much liberty is taken with things. Looks interesting.

Maggie Gyllenhall is also in it even though she is rather infamous for making the comment that america was partly responsible for 9/11.

Premieres on Showtime Sept. 8, '07. (Maybe they thought that premiering it on 9/11 was a bit tacky, although Showtime will run the movie at 7:45 p.m. on that day.)
