A better than expected comic biopic of Howard Stern, starring the self-proclaimed "King Of All Media" himself, as well as his entourage - Gary Dell Abate, Robin Quivers and Jackie Martling. All of whom play themselves as well.

One nit - IIRC, the pic had Stern clean shaven when he started at WNBC radio in 1982. Stern actually had a mustache when he worked at NBC. Check out Pirate Jim's Radio History Page for a pic of Stern and Imus.

During scenes set in New York City in 1977, we see street name signs with white lettering on a green background. In reality, the street signs in '77 had black lettering on a yellow background.
Stern is seen wearing Koss Pro 4AA headphones during his tenure on a Washington, DC radio station. Stern is seen with the cord on his right side. In all single cord headphones, the cord is on the left side.
Those Koss headphones are perhaps the most uncomfortable phones on the market; me and my friend from high school would call them "vise-grip headphones". Koss even discontinued them for a while, but brought them back after a short time, due to "popular demand". Oh, please.

I noticed that also when I saw the film.

Here is another one I noticed by never posted until now:

After NBC decides to offer Howard a job at New York City's WNBC, Howard tells Allison this over a meal at a restaurant, and Allison tells him that she is pregnant again, following her earlier miscarriage. After the Sterns move to New York, Vin Vallesecca introduces Stern to Kenny "Pig Vomit" Rushton, and the title card reads August 4, 1982. While I don't know if the month and day is correct, 1982 is indeed the year Stern moved from Washington to New York. Several scenes later, after Stern is discovered to have tremendous ratings, and Kenny goes to Stern's apartment to tell him that Stern "won", the scene cuts to the Sterns at an AC/DC concert, set on July 27, 1985, according to the title card. Allison goes into labor, and gives birth. In the present-day framing sequence set on Howard's flight from the MTV Movie Awards to New York featuring Carol Alt as a woman named Gloria, Stern tells Gloria that they named the baby Emily. Emily is the Sterns' oldest daughter, which means the birth that occurred right after the AC/DC concert was Emily. So the film would have us believe that Allison got pregnant again in 1982, and gave birth in late July 1985. What'd she give birth to, an elephant? (In reality, Emily was born in 1983, not 1985.)

Trivia: At the airport when Howard reunites with Allison and his three daughters, the Sterns' middle daughter, Debra Jennifer, is played by a then-unknown Sarah Hyland, who went onto fame on the TV series Modern Family.
