J.F.K.
One nit....
during the court scene, Garrison mentions the last 3 assassinations during that decade in the wrong order....
He says:"John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy & Martin L. King"
The correct order is, J.F.K., M.L.K., THEN R.F.K.
PS...I thought there was a conspiracy too.
Watched this movie for the first time in a long while. I had forgotten how well made it is. I don't believe in a conspiracy at all and think this film is incredibly irresponsible in how it distorts history, but it's incredibly watchable, so well put together with a great cast.
Here's a website that lists "One Hundred Errors of Fact and Judgment in Oliver Stones JFK." It doesn't attack the film for changes that were made for strictly dramatic reasons, but the "facts" of the case that are distorted, misrepresented or flat out made up.
I read that site too. Very well-argued.
John A. Lang: Garrison mentions the last 3 assassinations during that decade in the wrong order....
Luigi Novi: He didn't necessarily intend to name them in order.
No conspiracy?
On disc 2 of "The Special Edition", they show recently released medical records proving that a bullet struck Kennedy from the front.
A second gunman was involved.
I didn't see the second disc but here's a link to the medical records that show a bullet entering from the back and exiting from the front.
