In Disney's "Sleeping Beauty", Prince Phillip rides his horse madly out of Maleficent's castle. At then end, he & his horse jump the rising drawbridge...he makes it. However, the 3 good fairies make a magic bridge...but by the time it appears, Prince Phillip & his horse are already safe on the other side of the drawbridge.
In Disney's "Cinderella", the Fairy Godmother turns the mice in horses and the horse into a coach driver.
Wouldn't it made more sense to turn the horse into a better breed of horse like she did to the mice?
NANJAO: Maleficent from "Sleeping Beauty" and the evil step-mother from "Cinderella" sure sound alike, don't they?
(They're both played by the Eleanor Audley)
Cinderella: No because a proper royalish carriage has to be pulled by a team of white horses.
John - Wouldn't it made more sense to turn the horse into a better breed of horse like she did to the mice?
I see it as a reward to the horse. He gets to work sitting down. Also as a horse he would know how to properly treat a horse.
