from Ghostbusters ...
The scene where Walter Peck arrives at the Ghostbusters compound with a warrant to have the "protection grid" shut down:
Egon announces that "shutting down the protection grid would produce an explosion equivalent to a nuclear explosion" ... yet, when the wimpy electrical guy shuts the disconnect off, we are given a view of an electrical meter that monitors "DC MICROAMPERES" ... a value that would NEVER directly cause an explosion of such magnitude. (unless the monitor was for some VERY much smaller causational electrical factor ... a plot-point NOT given in the movie).
The trailer to Ghostbusters, if it came out in the 1950's.
Pretty good mash up. The two things that slightly took me out of it were the guy using the energy cannon on the ghost from the coffin (the guy with the cannon was in a well-lit room, and the ghost appeared to be a very dark room), and the clip from Arena(TOS) used as the stand-in for Gozer's first appearance.
I'm not sure why the video specifies 1954 as the projected year, especially since Arena premiered in 1967, but it was still interesting to watch.
Here's a fact - Ernie Hudson auditioned for his movie role in the film's cartoon version - and didn't get it. More here.
When the Ghostbusters fire their proton packs into Gozer's realm to close the dimensional portal, Zuul and Vinz are right in front of them and could easily have jumped on them and torn them to shreds, so why didn't they?
When Ghostbusters II starts, we see that the guys have gone out of business and a lot of people call them crackpots.
Did all of NYC forget about the giant marsh mellow man that went rampaging through their city, only a few years before!?
Do Ghosts Have Civil Rights ?

No.
The legal system does not recognize the existence of the supernatural in any way, shape, or form.
And for good reason.
If they did, every shyster lawyer out there would be using it to get their clients off: "My client didn't kill his wife, Your Honour, the demon possessing him made him do it. He's an innocent man."
That being said, however, they have been cases where an accused criminal was acquitted due to the supernatural being involved (noted demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren were involved in such a case), but those are the exceptions, not the rule.

Imagine turning the Ghostbusters loose in the Tower Of London.
Of course, since the ghosts that reported haunt the Tower have never harmed anyone, the Ghostbusters might not feel the need to capture any of said ghosts.

No one gives s**t about any of this, Winters.
I do !
Well, McCree, he sure put you in your place. …..
Let me amend...
No one else gives a s**t about any of this, Winters.
I don't either.
And, David Muir was nine or ten years old when Ghostbusters was made.
Winters is not going to let facts get in the way of his inane ramblings.
