Stallone writes & directs this film about Edgar Allen Poe. Stallone says on page 26 of the Dec. 2006 Playboy, that he's read 200 books on Poe, and the script has gone through 15 face-lifts since he first wrote it in 1970. He will not act in it, however. It's currently scheduled for 2007 release.
