It seems now that the Robotech movie will never be produced, due to legal issues over just exactly who owns the rights to the various Mecha designs used in the Robotech adaptation...
Given that Robotech was a westernised adaptation of 3 seperate Japanese Anime (Macross, Super Dimensional Cavalry, & Genesis Climber Mospeda) made by different companies, it seems highly unlikely that Robotech will be released...
