I don't know how well or poorly this flick performed at the box office, but the DVD is to be released April 1, 2008. More here.

Great movie! Tim Burton is an amazing director and Johnny Depp & Helena Bonham Carter were perfect as the leads. (They are quite a bit younger than depicted in the original play, but it worked very well in the film.)

Just over 50M in the U.S. if IMDB is to be believed, which means it just barely made its budget.

It's been playing on HBO since November. Check it out. It's a very good flick, if quite grisly at times.
