it wasn't too bad. Was the father of the main character, (sorry I forgot his name,) a normal person or a "jumper"? The reason I ask is he acts as if he knows somethings going on. And doesn't seem too upset ....

When his son supposedly drowns at the beginning and then "meraculously" comes back. I couldn't help but wonder if his dad knew about his sons abilities.
