I'm surprised to see Romantic Comedies as one of the genres, but neither plain Romance or Comedy represented.

Having just seen "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly", I'm sorry to see it didn't make the list. At least "Unforgiven" is on there.

Sports: "National Velvet" over "The Natural"?

What genre were "Citizen Kane" and "Casablanca" considered to be in that they didn't make these lists?

Also, in the Western Genre, in addition to GBU (mentioned by Josh), where is "The Magnificent Seven"?

That is interesting, seeing as both are top five on AFI's list (and isn't Kane #1?). I guess they couldn't fit them in.

Whoops on the Gangster movies order.

Re: "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly"

I believe this movie was omitted from AFI's (American Film Institute's) Top 10 Westerns list because it was a production from the nation of Italy (hence the term, "Spaghetti Western"), rather than the United States of America.
