what's politically incorrect about it? I don't know anything about the movie. I never heard of it.

There is some controversy over the casual use of the word "retard" in it.

I think it's time people just grew a sense of humour instead of acting so precious. Be willing to bet money that the people bleating about it have not seen the movie nor the context with which the word is said.

Amen to both! When did people get so sensitive about movies anyway? I miss the days when you actually did have free speech and lawsuits didn't happen as often as breathing.

Tropic Thunder is very funny--I didn't find it offensive but I typically am not offended by films. If you're going to get offended by films, why not get offended over worse ones?
