I'm not sure what the controversy will like if it's at all true to the source material, or if it will help or hurt its box office, but I can't wait!

Tim Meadows as Detective John Tool (I'm not too sure about this one.)
Paul Giamatti as Allfather D'Aronique. I don't know of any actor offhand who's that obese, but a fat suit could do the trick with Giamatti, or for that matter, any other actor, really.
Any ol' John Wayne impersonator as "The Duke"
Gloria Stuart as Marie L'Angelle (Or maybe Cloris Leachman or Kathy Bates.)
