Chicago 10

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Movies: Biographical/Historical/Religious: Chicago 10
By John A. Lang (Johnalang) on Sunday, November 02, 2008 - 7:51 pm:

A live-action / animated movie of the famous trial of Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin and their cohorts during the Democratic Convention in Chicago in 1968.

This movie was mind-blowing.

I never knew that Mayor Richard Daley gave the order "Shoot to kill" after the burnings started.

I never knew that one of the defendants was tied up and gagged to keep him quiet.

The whole trial was conducted like a Nazi tribunal. (IMHO)

This movie is a true treat for history buffs.
