I can't believe this one isn't on here yet!

When I see it, I'll talk about it here!

And yes, it was originally going to be called "Screwed!" Man, do I hate Shawn Michaels!

Bret Hart suffered a career-ending injury in 2000, if you were wondering. And I have read his "Hitman" memoir, it was really great!

More to come!

I'm glad about this film's title. It doesn't require me to go into the Administration area to place it in alphabetical order with the others in the subtopic! :-)

Well, I got this from eBay, and I think that if you are a wrestling fan and a Bret Hart fan, you will be glad that this is out, but incensed that Vince McMahon, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H (Paul Levesque) all conspired to take the WWE (then WWF) World title away from him in front of a Canadian audience, the ONE thing that Bret ABSOLUTELY did NOT want to do!

He said that, before leaving for WCW (which Vince bought in 2001) that he would definetly drop the title. But he genuinely detests Shawn in real life, that was not just a work. Bret had difficulty to begin with, having to "job" to Shawn in 1996 at Wrestlemania 12 and lose the belt to him. That was bad enough. But being "screwed" out of the title in Canada by a man whom he thought was his friend was the final straw!

Bret would then move to WCW and be there to witness it's rise, and then fall as it all fell apart and was sold for next to nothing to Vince a few years later.

I am not the world's leading expert on everything pro wrestling, but I like to think I have a good understanding of the business and that I have a good amount of knowledge on the subject.

BTW, in case you're interested, after the "Screwjob", Shawn retired due to a bad back injury, but later returned a changed man, having become a born-again Christian. And Hunter (Paul) married Vince's daughter Stephanie, and continues to dominate his competition for the most part. Nepotism sure work's wonders, doesn't it?
