Well, both look the same to me, so I'm guessing from your question that the original Les Schtroumpfs had a different tone from the cartoon? Either way, the new teaser trailer is out.

Kinda generic, in terms of imagery, and the use of Tone Loc's "Wild Thing" as music. Hopefully the first full trailer will be better.

I also prefer that it's set entirely within their familiar realm, and not NYC, but who knows?

I loved the 2011 film
"The Smurfs" and I loved the poster for the movie where the Smurfs are on Top of the Empire state building looking out at the New York City skyline
