My mom tells me that Sandra Bullock will be wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress, which one of her coworkers in the sample room at OdlR has already made.

My mom also tells me that my aunt, her twin sister Margherita, who also works in the sample room with her, altered a gold dress being worn by an actress tonight. She doesn't know the actress' name, but said that it's a blonde, full-figured woman. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Okay, it's Cameron Diaz. I pointed out that Cameron Diaz is hardly "full-figured" (hell, she's one of the most athletic people in Hollywood), but my mom replied that she meant the dress. (I have no idea what that means, but whatever; I'm no the fashion expert. )

Mom also just saw Meryl Streep, and was surprised to see Meryl wearing a shirt that she made, which she didn't previously know about.

Okay, it's a similar blouse, but not the same one.

The Academy apologizes to Farrah Fawcett's loved ones.

Sandra Bullock made "history" (if you can call it that) by winning an Oscar and a Razzie in the same year. She won the Razzie on 3/6 for "Worst Actress" in All About Steve, and got her Best Actress Oscar for The Blind Side 24 hours later. She was a great sport about her Razzie, even appearing in person to collect it, and giving All About Steve DVDs to the Razzie ceremony attendees. More here.
