Finally got to see it. It was all right, but not one of their best efforts, IMO.

It's a superhero and action movie, but the amount of damage the characters take still stretches credibility. Bruce gets shot in the shoulder, is still able to pull both cops out of the car, and drag them away before it explodes. Then he drives home, though there they at least show he's getting tired from blood loss.

Gordon, too, shows amazing endurance. He gets brutally beaten by thugs (SPOILER ALERT, in fact his fellow cops) with baseball bats, so badly it looks like he should be in the hospital. Yet it seems that later that night he tracks down Flass and beats him up.

Then late in the movie, he gets shot in the shoulder and still manages to chase down the thugs who grabbed his son. Adrenaline can do wonders.

I had problems with that final fall, too. We see James, the thug, and James Jr. fall off the bridge. Bruce appears and grabs James Jr. Then they're all on the ground, the thug unconscious, the other three just fine. I'm wondering just how Bruce was able to shield little James from the impact of the free fall. Showing what happened would have been nice. Or maybe a nice reveal of the grappling gun for the first time. The audience can make the leap that an impact that kills an infant wouldn't necessarily kill and adult.

I liked the Catwoman short, though I would imagine the accusations of misogyny I saw leveled at the Spectre and Jonah Hex shorts probably were not much alleviated by this particular film.
