The first trailer for Disney's "Maleficent", featuring Angelina Jolie in the title role, debuts tomorrow (well, later today, since it's early in the morning Wednesday), but until then, here's a poster of her looking beautifully evil in the role:

The teaser trailer looks pretty good, as does AJ in the title role!

I'm not sure if this is a nit, but in the original "Sleeping Beauty", Maleficent uses her powers from her castle tower to create the thorny forest.

In this movie, she is standing where the thorny forest will eventually be and creates it right there.

(This movie may be a "reboot" of "Sleeping Beauty"...which is why I said I'm not sure if it is a nit)


Anyway, the trailer looks great, and I can't wait for this movie to come out and see how they do the Maleficent / Dragon transformation....and if it's anything like the original, we're in for a real treat.

It's not only a reboot, it's a retelling of 'Sleeping Beauty".

Angelina is "spot on" with her role as Maleficent.

No, but I'm familiar with it. How does it make the new film a reboot?

It takes elements from the animated movie and mixed it with some new ideas...making it a new story.....sort of.

The big element is that the so-called "Evil Fairy" is not as evil as we all thought she was.

I enjoyed this movie.
