Just saw this movie with my wife. I really wanted to like it. it was beautifully shot and acted. but the drama seemed tired some how. If they had made a few changes in the plot I think it would have be a landmark film.

In many of the shots showing the solar panel array powering Will's systems, you can see that the panels do not track the sun. In some shots they even face completely away from it.

During the final attack, Will's solar farm is mostly destroyed, which deprives him of the power he needs to both heal Evelyn and download the virus. I find that hard to believe though. This is a solar farm, one that must be technologically very advanced like everything Will does, it must have ways to store vast amounts of power for night time and for when the sun is not shining. He should have plenty of reserve power to work with at this point.

Also during the attack, Bree threatens to kill Max if Will does not download the virus. Evelyn argues that Max should not have to pay the price for Will's actions, and Will decides to download the virus. However, doing this results in all of Earth's computer based and operated technology to ultimately shut down, something they knew in advance would happen. This must have caused billions of people to die. So, kill all those people and save Max, or let Max die and let the people live. Max should have instantly seen the implication of giving in to Bree's threat and not download the virus, especially considering that he probably could have neutralized Bree as easily as he had already neutralized the forces attacking him.
