First of all, the release date. James Gunn tweeted that it's currently set for July 28, 2017.
In other news, like I noted in main movie thread, Quill's father in the MCU is not going to be his father in the comics, J'Son of Spartax.
Thanos also may or may not even be in the sequel, which makes sense if he ends up being the Big Bad in Avengers 3. It would seem a bit redundant to have him be the bad guy in both, especially if some or all of the Guardians cross over into the Avengers films.
Saw the trailer today when I saw Doctor Strange.
Trailer looked good.
Saw the film. Liked it. The crew is still bickering all the time.
