I rage quit this movie.
* Anastasia in this movie is a bit taller than Maria? WTH?!
* Tatiana flashes her breasts at a Bolshevik guard? I bet the real Tatiana is ass-kicking the screenwriter in Heaven for that
* a luvvie pensioner Yurovsky?
* 1914 photos-based hair on the girls in Yekaterinburg?
No doubt to most moviegoers, these mistakes went unnoticed. However, Natalie, to those like us, who've studied this period, the mistakes fly right out at us.
I've warned my friends that, if they watch a movie about the Romanovs, they do not want me in the room, because I'll start to nitpick!
And there is the 1966 movie, Rasputin The Mad Monk. YE-IKES! Below is what I wrote about it on the Alexander Palace board, back in 2010:
