Why did Diana lose some of her powers when she wished for Steve's return?

The footage of the flying sequence at the end was a reuse of the flying sequence earlier in the movie

How can the Magic Lasso catch a lightning bolt when a lightning bolt lasts only 1/16 of a second or less?

MY! That nuclear threat ended quickly didn't it? The missiles vanish and peace returns in a flash.

SO...The Invisible Jet isn't invisible at all! It's only invisible because of Diana's special powers. What's up with that?

If there was a moral to this story it would be, "Be careful what you wish for, because you might just get it"

SPOILER ALERT: Lynda Carter makes a cameo appearance during the end credits

BTW...Was I seeing things or was that a young Lyle Waggoner in the mirror when Chris Pine looked into it?

"Monkey's Paw" effect.

She's a freakin' god(dess). She can do whatever the heck she wants.

Why didn't the President wish for world peace instead of more nukes?

As James Earl Jones in "Sneakers" so aptly put it when asked for peace on Earth and goodwill towards men:

"We are the United States Government, we don't do that sort of thing!"

No, that's the guy that Steve's spirit is inhabiting, and by coincidence he shows up at the end of the movie (as himself) at Christmas time, and speaks to Diana.

Which brings up an uncomfortable fact-- Steve and Diana fooled around, using this guy's body. And where did his spirit (soul) go when Steve inhabited his body?

Gal Gadot was even more lovely in this movie than the last.

The first 20 minutes is 10-year old Diana competing against full-grown adults in all those physical competitions. Sorry, but her little legs can't compete against full-grown women with longer strides, and physically stronger than her (they are, after all, 'wonder women', themselves)

Are we to believe that a biplane pilot from 1918 could learn to fly a 1980's jet fighter in a matter of minutes? And the jet was fully fueled for a flight to Egypt (and back!), a distance of 5935 miles each way?

I liked watching her learn how to fly. She tried multiple poses, and I smiled when she made a Christopher Reeve pose; clenched fist straight out front, while the other fist is held near the waist.

There is a silly-looking Hollywood-pushed running technique out there that I see everywhere now, and that's with the fingers straight out, and the hands slicing through the air, instead of running with clenched fists, like we all do, and like everybody did in the 1984 I lived through. Here, Diana is running with those silly straight-fingered-hands technique.

Ordinarily, I don't mind long superhero movies, but this one could have had a good 20 minutes chopped off. It was quite long and felt like it.

It also contradicts 'Justice League', where Diana admits to Bruce Wayne that she turned her back on humanity for a hundred years (1918 - 2018). Was she lying about not having a job and a life amongst mortals in 1984?

I think sprinters use the straight hand technique, but this was clearly not a sprint.
