On SCTV, the resident geniuses once tried writing a parody of Cagney and Lacey. They found they couldn't, because it was all ready too much a self-parody. I think this movie will fall down for the same reason.

This movie has been retitled, "Scary Movie". Three days ago, Entertainment Tonight showed a preview, which looked very good.

I saw this movie last week.

FUNNY SH*T!

Many of the best lines I can't repeat here, but there are a few that, with careful editing, I can get away with.

Greg: "A small {peenis} is like a disability! You wouldn't make fun of a guy in a wheel chair would ya'?"

Cindy: "Doofy!"
Sheriif: "Sh*thead?"

Drew: "That's not my boyfriend! I mean I f**cked him a few times but that's it."

Heather: "Gail, help me!"
Gail: "I would sweetie but it's sweeps."
OK that didn't require any editing, but I still thought it was funny.

Adendum: had to add extra "e" to ••••• for obvious reasons.

I really thought this movie was digusting. To me the only things that were funny was what they put in the Previews.

Nit for Scary Movie 3:

In the opening scene, Pamela Anderson rips off her blouse () to throw over the birdcage. She then runs upstairs to find her friend. However, as we see her coming up the stairs, her blouse is back on ()

Shouldn't that be on a Scary Movie 3 board?

Because it was one lousy nit, and I didn't feel like creating a whole board for it. Maybe Jake could create a subtree for Scary Movie and it's sequels if he feels like it.
