Saw "What Lies Beneath" as a sneak preview Monday. First do NOT waste y'all's time watching this movie. Boooring! Two nits in it though. At one point, Michele Pfiefer's looking up a missing person on the 'Net. The person's picture is on the right side of the page, information on the person on the left. However when we see the printed copy of the page, the picture and info are reversed.

Later Michele's in the bathtub, the tub full of water, in her bathrobe and pajamas. (I'm not giving away any plot points by saying why she's in the tub like that.) Anyway when she gets out of the tub, her hair's still wet, but her clothes are pretty dry looking if you ask me.

This is a really creepy movie! I was jumpin' outta my seat a couple of times. Especially when we learend what harrison Ford's characer really did. Oh man, the gasps that that audience made! I don't think Ford has ever played the bad guy before, has he?

Michelle Pfieffer was great. Her reactions of fear in the tub and in the lake were truly real. You see, she's hydrophobic. So those scenes must've been really hard for her to do.

Great job all around. From the stars, the director, etc. And how about that ending huh?

The only part of the film I didn't like was the way-too-long(and way-too-cliched) climax;for instance, once Michelle Pfieffer was able to save herself from drowning in the tub, I knew that, once she looked at the floor, Harrison Ford would no longer be there.
Otherwise, this film was pretty good. Harrison Ford & Michelle Pfieffer have never been better!

Harrison Ford was better in the maligned "Random Hearts". His wife in that was played by "Borg Queen"/"Karen Sammler" Susana Thompson.
This was Zemeckis' in-betweenie, filmed during a long break in the shooting of "Cast Away." Did they really shoot this in 35 days, as I had heard?
