Episode 11: In The Still Darkness -- The Day Tokyo-3 Stood Still
Episode 12: The Value Of A Miracle Is -- She said, "Don't make others suffer for you personal hatred."

A major power failure cripples Tokyo 3, and NERV is left defenseless as a new Angel approaches with lethal intent. As Gendo and Ritsuko struggle to ready the giant Evas for combat without benefit of modern technology, Shinji, Asuka and Rei must find their way through the underground labyrinth of tunnels and crawlways to the Eva's subterranean launch bays. However, even if they get there, will they be able to launch without electricity? Then, against the background of an attack by the largest Angel yet, both Shinji and Misato must come to grips with their feelings for their respective fathers while still trying to save the Earth from total destruction.

Episode 11:

Why doesn't NERV go through the trouble of buying one or two in-house washing machines? Would it really cost THAT much?

This is great: when the kids reach a fork in the hallway, Auska says they should go right, but looks to the left!

Why does the Japanese military have people from Texas? ('cause everyone knows that you can't have a convincing depiction of military personnel without at least one Texas accent, right?)

Episode 12:

About the subtitle: who is this "she" who's talking?

I believe in episode 11 Asuka has a line where she tells Shinji to:"Stop being such a nitpicker!"
After making such a fuss about being "The Leader"
Asuka finally showed her stuff when she came up with the plan to defeat the Angel.Though it would appear that she chose the Defensive part for herself partly out of jealousy to Rei.And did anyone else kinda figure out that Misato was gonna get stuck in the elevator with her ex?

Being such an advanced complex shouldn't NERV have redundancys built within their redundancys so in case of a blackout and backup generators went out the way they did in this episode they would still be able to have some power? And is it really realistic that the Commander of NERV would be doing the job of a basic grunt?

And come to think of it doesn't NERV have Emergency Exits?

So in the future when we do laundry we'll get it all instantly folded.

I must confess my favorite part was where Asuka continues to make a nuisance of herself but then later comes up with the plan of fighting the Angel. This showed that while she might still be overly obnoxious,Asuka also does use her head.
