Pretty self explainatory... what's your favorite episode? How 'bout your least favorite?

Uh, mine, well, uh....well....before readin this, make sure you dont get pissed and read everything till the end cause I have a reason for all this.

EVA was the worst Anime Ive seen

Why?

Because it could have been Sooooo (I mean aloT!) much better than it was and it wasnt. It was a master piece that ended up dying never being able to grow. If only Gainax had the budget, they could have probably made a Mech legend. (they still do now, but alot of criticism too)

Man........has anyonne seeen the movie? the movie was so beautiful that I couldnt even tell iit was animation. (I am not exxagerating, like Princess Mononoke, even though it was good, you can tell its animation) it was Disney Quality.

Why couldnt the series be at least that good?

My wish is to rewrite the scprit in the best way possible (to make the event more universal rather than revolving around Tokyo3 only) make the Angels more intersting (it was like, one pattern, Comes>Kill>Comes>Kills, so Id like to make that better somehow), givem a good year or two to complete episodes 1~6 (beleive me, it may seem long but it takes time to get used to a new anime process) and let it air to be a 58 episode story with 5,7 side stories, and 2,3 movies.

Ahhhhhh that will be the day.
seriously.

Man.

Geez.

Ive dreamed long enough.
Thankyou

PS:Oh yah, also make the EVA designs more intersting. The head designs a killer good, but the bodies start to get boring espacially when you have all the models and see the exact same armor part on every unit

(minor spoilers in this message)

Well, the reason the Eva's look similar probably has something to do with the fact that the humanoids underneath the armor are all the same shape. Can't change the design too much when the main component is a biological life form, eh?

As for your thoughts on Evangelion as a whole, you are entitled to your opinions and I respect them, but I have to disagree. You think it would have been better to concentrate more on the mecha. I've always found Evangelion to be a character driven show. It's all about the characters. When you think about it, almost everything that happens in the show has something to do with advancing the characters or exploring some new aspect of them. Even the angels were there simply for the characters to react to. Why else would they never gone into the origins of the angels? And what possible reason could there be for pilots having to be 14 years old, except that it is convenient for placing the characters in the situations they are in? When you look at Evangelion as a character driven show, the TV series ending is a much more satisfying one then the film ending, in that it brings completion to the story of the character of Shinji Iraki. (Admittedly, it does ignore the other characters a bit to concentrate on him.)

The pilots are all 14 years old, because they were all born 9 months after the second impact.

This really isn't my FAVORITE episode, but I do think that Episode 14 does a much better job of making the inevitable recap/clip show enteresting than most shows do.

Good point about the Angels' being stuck in a rut, by the way.
