PLOT SUMMARY: Londoner Nathan Garrideb is approached by a fellow with the same surname from Kansas. If the two of them are able to find another person named Garrideb, they stand to collect a large inheritance due to the terms of a strange will. Nathan employs Sherlock Holmes to investigate the bizarre case.
By kerriem. on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 - 5:43 pm: Unremarkable remake of 'The Red-Headed League' - except for the moment when Holmes thinks Watson's been fatally shot, and lets all his affection for the good Doctor spill out at once (albeit in a highly stylised Victorian fashion).
And NOT BEFORE TIME, I say! I suppose even Doyle eventually started wondering why Watson stuck around for all that abuse.
