Irish Comedy comes to NitCentral!

"Father Ted" depicts the whacky tales of a trio of Catholic priests - the scheming Fr. Ted Crilly (the late Dermot Morgan), the simple-minded Fr. Dougal McGuire (Ardal O'Hanlon) and the drunkard Fr. Jack Hackett (Frank Kelly) - who, with their over-friendly housekeeper Mrs. Doyle (Pauline McLynn) are exiled on Craggy Island, a fictional isle off the west coast of Ireland.

Created by Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews (their credits include "The Fast Show" as well as their later sketch show "Big Train")
Produced by Hat Trick (in the UK)
First shown on Channel 4 (1995-8)
