Primeval
Primeval ran for five seasons, broadcast both in the UK and on BBC America. The prehistoric creatures were originally created by the same people who made the Walking with Dinosaurs BBC documentary series; that role was then taken over by The Mill who have also worked on Doctor Who.
It’s classed as family entertainment, so isn’t exactly rocket science. My best advice to anyone watching this series is to take your brain off the hook while watching. If you view it in full nitpicker mode, you’ll hate it, but as simple entertainment it’s good fun and has some great character development.
