Anybody want to contribute to the Mark Morgan emergency cable fund?

Wow it was impressive some quick questions/comments

Daemon- well done she has sort of a Bijork/other worldly character which works very well. Great idea to show her power as a religious cult, giving Mike the TV a great performance

Hex- She went from Chaotic Evil to Chaotic Neutral in this one. Not sure exactly what happened to her, looks like she became a sprite, her new look is interesting, the hair is weird though.

Nibbles- After he joins the Null cocoon it starts to channel Dot's father... Does this mean that Megabyte and Hex are other members of the Matrix family? (Megabyte calls Nibbles father after Nullzilla)

Games, both were good the first was hysterical; Austin Powers was very short with Matrix as Dr. Evil (Austin walks in, Matrix pulls out a gun, game ends)

The animation and textures looked like they were improved since the end of last season, the explosions also looked a lot better.

I, too, found the Austin Powers-inspired game a nice touch. Did anyone catch that the older Enzo Matrix, with his robotic eye, had the role of Dr. Evil and the younger Enzo Matrix the role of Mini-Me? It took me a minute to piece this one together. That gun the older Enzo Matrix uses on the user, by the way, greatly resembles the Golden Gun from the James Bond series (i.e., The Man with the Golden Gun). It is a weapon used in both the video games GoldenEye and The World is Not Enough, but it is the latter that requires you to assemble it prior to its use.

What is the deal with Phong? He, of all the Mainframe residents, desperately turns to Dot Matrix for answers? Once upon a time, Phong was consulted for advice by Dot Matrix, Bob, and even the younger Enzo Matrix. He, because of his vast wisdom, prepared for a Nullzilla incident far before it occurred. Then again, perhaps that was just a lucky guess after all.

Speaking of Nullzilla, the younger Enzo Matrix's inquiry concerning what a Nullzilla is alerts me to the fact that this younger Enzo Matrix is exactly what I thought: the version from the early half of Season One. I asked this before, but if the original Enzo Matrix was rebooted in Season Three's finale, how come various other items did not also appear, such as the Twin City? However, that statement directly contradicts itself, because that would mean the Enzo Matrix rebooted would be even younger. Answers please, Mainframe, Inc.!

I thought along similar lines, Muscadomestica, about Nibbles inosculating with the other nulls just as Dr. Matrix vocally "emerges." If so, then why did this not happen in the episode "Nullzilla?" Perhaps Megabyte tauntingly addressed Nibbles as father simply because he knows the truth. Well, there are two more episodes to go. I still question how Enzo Matrix survived that game's character's finishing move (decapitation) at the end of Season Two. Or when and where he acquired the robotic eye and systematically integrated gun.

I noticed the following nit on my third viewing.

When Phong comes in while Enzo is sitting watching vids of what happened to Matrix, the front of Enzo's shirt briefly turns into the version from the second season.

Teenage Dot, "00" Enzo and Welman Matrix all wear inverted icons in the flashbacks.

Mike the TV has become Plastic Man. His musical number is fun, but his animation is grossly exxagerated and cartoony, especially when viewed next to Daemon.

"Little Matrix" continues to wear his icon inverted.

When did Bob's red car become that overbuilt blue thing?

How does AndrAIa recognize Daemon instantly? She doesn't know what she looks like.

I'm surprised noone else has mentioned this. Welman Matrix's "portal" device looks suspiciously like a Stargate. :)

Kitty, take a look back at the second season episode "When Games Collide" in which that StarGate like portal makes its first appearance :) Its one of my favorite references on the show, by the way. :)

Ahhss, that'll be why I've never noticed it before. :) ReBoot was given a pretty bad run over here in the UK and they dropped it mid-way through Season 3 as soon as AndrAIa and Matrix get lost in the games because it was getting "too dark for the kiddies".

I'm not sure if season1 and 2 have been repeated at any time (probably has on the Cartoon Network...which I don't have) and the only reason I've seen Season3 is I bought the R1 DVDs...season4? Well...you know my methods. ;)
