Yes, yes, Yes! All this weekend I was considering asking Phil to let me moderate a topic on Reboot, but decided against it because I was too busy! This is so cool--thank you, thank you, thank you.
You can reach me by contacting Ubiqtysync@nitcentral.com, and please feel free to bring to my attention any errors in character names, information pertaining to the show, etc. Thank you.
Heeeyyyy [words edited], the "Wizards, Warriors, And A Word From Our Sponsor" board won't letcha post.

Mr. Nelson, problem solved.
Cool! Thanks, Mr. Stuart! (Sorry if the nickname offended! Twas merely a joke! Besides, wasn't Spanky one of the Lil Rascals??)

A Reboot board! Yay! Alpha Numeric!
I have recently provided rectifications to grammatical errors found in much of my "nit-picks' " sentences, which ought to be eliminated with the consummation of the correctional process while accessing the ReBoot selection/configuration menu. On an unrelated note, I propose two new characters to be added to the series. Their names shall be Conatus and Nisus, one of whom I envision as being an anti-virus program's Sprite. Please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions, etc., under the appropriate sub-section, which would be Notions of resuming the series. Thank you.
To everyone, Cartoon Network started showing ReBoot again last week.
To everyone: I know it's been quiet around here lately, but yes, I'm still moderator. And I'll start ramping up info on the new movies/season/whatevertheheckitis.
Glitch! Core Dump!
Greetings, minions! I've created the show boards for the various episodes starting this Friday. I also moved all the miscellaneous topics into a kitchen sink, where God intended them to be.
According to SFTV the episodes won't show in Canada until November. They'll be on YTV Canada as two movies, "Daemon Rising" and "My Two Bobs". The first movie for sure is scheduled on the Cartoon Network, but SFTV and I don't know if or when the second movie will arrive. Anybody with better information than that, please let us all know.
(Aside: if you're an SF television geek at all, you need to subscribe to the SFTV mailing list. I can't recommend them highly enough.)
We yanks should be careful about posting any spoilers until the movies air in Canada. That said, all of you in Canada should approach the Season Four boards with caution. Even the episode titles are provocative.
And yes, I don't have cable and yes, it annoys the bejeesus out of me and no, you can have my moderator's post when you pry it out of my cold, dead fingers.
The show is back! I can't believe how excited I am.
Double-click your icons!
I've been a fan in a big way since just before ABC canned the show ("the ABCs are attacking us!" was an obvious acknowledgement).
ReBoot is STILL the coolest show on television! I'ts cult TV by design.
It's clearly made by people who love it and are making it for themselves to enjoy. Now we love them for it.
I've never had cable, but trading videotapes is easy. after the show's run on ABC, the "Power Block" syndication package to local stations shortened episodes for commercial time but restored scenes otherwise censored from the ABC broadcasts (particularly "Web World Wars").
Season 3 was shown in Canada, and I saw tapes of those episodes broadcast before I found good quality commercial videotapes.
Wow.
It's "Reboot Dark."
Tougher. Meaner. Scarier. Dirtier. More violence. More homages.
More action reminicent of superhero comic books, since Marv Wolfman and Len Wein did scriptwriting. (dig how Bob merges with Glitch and becomes "SuperGuardian").
Unfortunately, this meant that Matrix and AndrAIa have a lot of artifically dangerous things thrown at them to fight in order to get back to Mainframe.
Still, there was more than enough originality in it to make ReBoot very enjoyable.
Now, I've just devoured a tape of the first 8 episodes of season 4.
It's good. It's so good I can't stand it.
This is killer stuff. ReBoot IS the shyte!
There are scenes that just leave awestruck, saying, "DAYMN!"
This is ReBoot dark and SINISTER. Much creepier.
Much more violent. Also quite funny. I can't wait to see the rest of it.
By now ReBoot requires a real depth of viewer familiarity with the show, who the characters are and how they work. There's no time to introduce themselves to novices. It demands the viewer to pay close attention, because the simplistic children's show plots are long gone. Individual episodes were eschewed for a lengthy, convoluted and self-referential serial plot starting with "AndrAIa".
Please update the Season 4 board to include pages for the episodes "My Two Bobs" through "Crouching Binome, Hidden Virus".
Done.
Thank you!
Just to let everyone know, the fourth "season" of ReBoot is now out on DVD, although most places are calling it volume 4, instead of V.4, as in Version 4.
Now, if they could just release seasons one and two on DVD and make season 5, I'll be happy.
Now in 2011, MANY years later, your wish has been granted. Seasons One & Two will debut on DVD very soon. Check Amazon.com for the release date.
