No explanation is suggested for Kilobyte's spontaneous viral upgrade. He sprouts Gigabyte's forearm and energy-draining claw, but it isn't until the gateway command appears behind him and starts spinning out a sphere of space that he fully evolves into Gigabyte, skippng a generation. Then the gateway closes and vacuums him up.

Why does the gateway spin in place? Why in this fashion does it function as a splitter, dividing Gigabyte into Hexadecimal and Megabyte? This causes the gateway to overload and explode, nullifying nearly all in the Twin City except Hexadecimal and Megabyte.

The newly born Hexadecimal's mask has a fine crackle finish, which didn't actually appear until season 3.

"When a key tool joins with a Guardian they exchange code...without it Turbo is incomplete." "As Daemon's infection spread, key tools left us." Evidently key tools are wholly autonomous when they want to be. Glitch demonstrates this exchange when it autonomously leaves Dixon and joins Bob. This, and Turbo's question "Why didn't your code cure me, Bob?" isn't addressed again intil the last act of "Null Bot of the Bride" and "Crouching Binome, Hidden Virus".

"After what [Megabyte's] genesis did to Mainframe's Twin City? After what he did to your partner?" How does Turbo know this? How does Bob know this? Bob doesn't look surprised when he hears it. Is this general knowledge? It was news to Dot when Hexadecimal explained it just earlier in this episode. It was news to us as well.
