Apparently, when Bob opens the door (in the game) that leads to the terrifying scary thing that we can't see, his beard and scar are missing from his face, and his missing tooth has returned. I have not seen this to confirm, but have noticed the nit listed on two reputable ReBoot sites.

My "nit-picks" are as proceeds:
1) After the game cube lands on the quartet (i.e., Bob, Enzo Matrix, Dot Matrix, and Mike the TV), there is a purple background behind Mike the TV momentarily that ought to be the game's environment instead.
2) The scar on Bob's face after rebooting is missing stitches that are noticed in close-up shots.
3) Mike the TV--an appliance that may be purchased at any local electronics store, which I have yet to observe in Mainframe--is capable of rebooting? Where is his PID?
4) Bob is on the back of the raft but is somehow the first hanging onto the ledge.
5) There is no sword to be reflected off the mirror for Mike the TV, whose evil counterpart wields a sword.
6) How come the game cubes so conveniently descend upon the heroes? This occurs in this episode and quite a number of later ones.
7) Why would the quartet reboot into four antagonists to the four users? Why are they attacked by game Sprites rather than ignored? Another escapade resemblant to this one transpired during the second game in the episode "Icons."
In response to your nits, Stu: (may I call you Stu?)
5) Mike rebooted with a sword, but it was too heavy. His mirror image, who is later revealed to be stronger than him, would not have dropped it.
7) In many real computer games, the user is competing against a computer-controlled opponent with equal/similar skills. They each must fight the same "enemies" to achieve the same goal.
I think Mike the T.V. equates to a binome in the system.
This struck me as one of the more enjoyable episodes due to the characterizaton and voice delivery of Mike. It was smart to keep him on as one of the inner circle of characters.
This episode is also just plain funny! The game offers a ludicrous number of levels and game sprites ("Haunted laundry"?)
The clever part of it is while no one wants Mike around, they need him.
Now this I like! This episode is just meant to be funny and it is!
1) Mike and co. are already within the descending game cube but it hasn't touched down yet, so the game environment hasn't yet been established, hence the purple background.
3) Mike doesn't wear a PID on his case, but it shouldn't be hard for him to display one on his screen. Make it a touch-screen and he can double-click his icon.
The editing is fast and funny in the handful of levels before the last.
The timing is kinda sloppy when Enzo's mirror-double threatens him with his bow.
I love the evil look on Bob's face right before he stomps on the knights. Re: the scary thing door, Bob loses the beard and scar just before he opens the door, but regains them during the screaming and thereafter. The music when the knights start attacking is fantastic. If you watch and listen carefully, you can see or hear Bob and Enzo stomp on 15 of the 16 knights. This is nice attention to detail, as one is later shown to be hiding behind a pillar.
