Infected

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: ReBoot: Season Two: Infected

When Megabyte invades the Principle Office by hiding in a file upgrade command, Bob, Dot, and Phong find themselves trapped inside the office armor with the virus. As Megabyte drains Phong's memory banks and threatens to take over Mainframe, Bob and Dot must try and defeat him on their own.

How exactly did Megabyte simulate a system upgrade? Furthermore, how does anyone determine when to anticipate these extemporaneous upgrades?

My nitpicks are as numerically proceeds:
1) After being kicked by a swinging Bob, Megabyte nearly slides off the circular platform into the exposed core below. When Megabyte recovers from this assault and returns to his feet, the background is displayed in such a way that Megabyte is quite a distance from the edge of the circular platform.
2) Since when was Phong considered a Sprite? Megabyte commended Phong, Bob, and Dot Matrix for being relentless Sprites.
3) The immense robotic exoskeleton device Dot Matrix operates is indeed impressive, but what purpose exactly does the tail to this particular device serve?

3) Balance. It's the same reason dinosaurs had tails.

2) Since when was Phong *not* a sprite?

Megabyte refers to Hexadecimal as "family" for the first time. The first hint at an extended plotline.
