Web Riders on the Storm

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: ReBoot: Season Three: Web Riders on the Storm

Searching the wilds of the Web to find a cure for AndrAIa, Matrix and the crew of the Saucy Mare are attacked by the outlandish Web Riders. Outmatched in a hostile environment, and with AndrAIa on the verge of deletion, our heroes find themselves at the mercy of the Riders and their mysterious and powerful leader.

My "nit-picks" are as numerically proceeds:
1) There is a glimpse of Raytracer/Web Surfr entering the storm from a vid window. Raytracer/Web Surfr, during this brief glimpse, appears not to be suited up with his Internet survival attire.
2) As Mr. Peterson (the spherical Binome frequently maintaining records of profit) is notifying Capt. Capacitor of there being no profit made, there are no Binomes on or around the cargo labeled Chips, then there are in a sequential scene, and then there are no Binomes on or around the cargo again.
3) Mr. Peterson has a writing implement (i.e., the square laptop-like device) in his hand prior to falling downstairs. After toppling down the stairs and recovering from the fall, though, the writing implement is missing.
4) All lanterns' flames were extinguished by the wind being pulled outward. However, there is still light illuminating the main deck on which Enzo Matrix and Capt. Capacitor are combating the stout Web Rider with the tentacle.
5) Glitch is not on Enzo Matrix's arm. Since when did Enzo Matrix decide to carry it on his backside? Even in the episode "Mend & Defend" Glitch was situated on Enzo Matrix's arm.
6) To whom is Bob speaking after he removes his helmet and remarks, "You just can't talk in these things"? Raytracer/Web Surfr and the Saucy Mare crew are behind Enzo Matrix and nowhere else. Personally, I believe this was aimed at being a dramatic return of Bob as observed by us the viewers. They definitely accumulated the suspense up to the very conclusion.

Matrix has carried Glitch on his waist since at least "The Episode With No Name," as that's where it was when the pickpocket took it.

How come the other web rider sprites degraded, even in their suits, while Bob just grew long hair? Must be that Guardian protocol.

Bob taking his helmet off is a direct homage to "Predator."

Capt. Capacitor's sidekick is Mr. Christopher, not Mr. Peterson. It's probably a reference to Mr. Christian from "Mutiny on the Bounty."

SPOILER!

Bob repairs AndrAIa's code by downloading some sort of repair protocol from his icon. (Remember, AndrAIa needed energy--which she got from the IV thingie--and someone also had to repair her code. The download must have been to repair her code.)

However--when Bob downloaded the Guardian protocols into Enzo's icon, he had to give a verbal instruction: "Command line: download Guardian protocol, version 1." So, why didn't he have to give a verbal command here? Don't you just hate those inconsistent user interfaces.

Mark--Bob had degraded slightly. His skin tone was a lighter blue, plus he had those strange glowing scars on his forehead. I assume that he's in better shape because he hasn't been there as long as the other web-riders.

It's not Mr. Peterson, it's Mr. Christopher.
It's not decapitating, it's skull-crushing.
It's not "reclined", it is in fact "reclaimed".
It's not Old McPhearson, it's Old Man Pearson. Is the (former) ReBoot moderator hard of hearing?

Sometimes you just have to wonder: where in the Net did Princess Bula come from? BTW, Bula's hair is shaped almost exactly like Mouse's.
