Actually, there's a new episode on the 17th.

By Rene on Tuesday, December 07, 2004 - 2:37 pm:

http://www.trektoday.com/ in case you're wondering about my source

By Darth Sarcasm on Tuesday, December 07, 2004 - 6:24 pm:

I think they changed that...

By Josh M on Tuesday, December 07, 2004 - 8:40 pm:

According to tvguide.com they're repeating Cold Station 12.

By Rene on Wednesday, December 08, 2004 - 6:03 am:

Hmmm...now they're claiming two new episodes on the 14th of next month. Geez.

By MarkN on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 - 7:42 pm:

I dunno if anyone's already seen or heard about this or not so please forgive me cuz I just found it tonight on StarTrek.com while looking for something else. I hardly ever visit there so I was unaware of this news till tonight.

Production Report: Klingon Discrepancy Addressed in "Affliction"

By MarkN on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 - 7:59 pm:

Be sure to also read the interesting linked article at the bottom, speculating on some various possibilities for the ridge decrepancies.

By LUIGI NOVI on Friday, February 04, 2005 - 7:36 am:

Richie? The next episodes after Affliction are Divergence, Bound, In a Mirror, Darkly part I, In a Mirror, Darly part II, and Demons.

Personally, I hope they change the title of that last one, since except for the "s" at the end, it's identical to the title of a Voyager episode.

By Dan Gunther on Saturday, February 05, 2005 - 12:35 am:

... and not a very good Voyager episode at that. :)

By LUIGI NOVI on Saturday, February 05, 2005 - 7:17 am:

I dunno, I liked it when I first saw it.

By LUIGI NOVI on Thursday, February 24, 2005 - 10:04 pm:

Revised schedule for final 6 eps:

The (as yet untitled) series finale will air on May 13, on the same night as the last regular episode, Terra Prime.)

April 15 Bound
April 22 In a Mirror, Darkly Part I
April 29 In a Mirror, Darkly Part II
May 6 Demons
May 13 Terra Prime and Series Finale

By Thande on Friday, February 25, 2005 - 7:36 am:

Back when Enterprise had a future there were 2 schools of thought as to what the series finale would be called - either "Federation" or something related to the first episode such as "Mended Bow", "Broken Arrow" or "The Archer's Bow" etc. Let's see if either will be proved right...

By LUIGI NOVI on Wednesday, March 02, 2005 - 10:11 pm:

These Are the Voyages will be the finale's title, according to the story Rene linked to on that other board. Personally, I think it'd be nice if it had an ellipsis at the end of it.

By Josh M on Thursday, March 03, 2005 - 12:30 pm:

What, like they did with All Good Things...?

By LUIGI NOVI on Thursday, March 03, 2005 - 8:58 pm:

Yeah, because the title is a familiar phrase to us, and just as the title All Good Things... allows us to make up the rest in our minds (as if the creators were saying, "You know the rest, guys"), so too could they do that with this title--even moreso, in fact, because it's a familiar Trek phrase, which IIRC, has not been used in a title since Strange New World, and before that, Where No One Has Gone Before(TNG).

By John . . .Boy . . . on Monday, April 11, 2005 - 6:08 pm:

Well Luigi, if the title of the episode is the only thing wrong with it, you Enterprise fans will be doing good! :) . . .

By ScottN on Monday, April 11, 2005 - 8:07 pm:

Given Ms. Blalock's comments, I'm not optimistic.

By Benn on Monday, April 11, 2005 - 8:27 pm:

And before that, The Final Frontier (as in STAR TREK V: The Final Frontier) and the granddaddy of them all, "Where No Man Has Gone Before", the second STAR TREK pilot.

"Live long and prosper."

By Dan Gunther on Monday, April 11, 2005 - 11:15 pm:

Actually, not that this has any bearing on the discussion whatsoever, the TNG episode "Where No One Has Gone Before" came before Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. :)

By Benn on Monday, April 11, 2005 - 11:26 pm:

I wasn't sure about the chronology of the two and took a gamble I'd be right. I lost that gamble.

"Live long and prosper."

By Influx on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 - 7:02 am:

TV Guide has a cover feature this week, apparently with spoilers. I will do what I can to avoid reading what's going to happen but I'm sure word will get out anyway. One photo in there says a lot, at least.

By LUIGI NOVI on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 - 1:37 pm:

I LOVE the photo of the cover I got! It's the one with T'Pol, Archer and Trip on it together. The color of the background is just beautiful, and the lighting on it is really sharp, but not too harsh.

Also, for some reason, Trip is finally wearing what I believe is the Columbia insignia patch on his uniform (it has the Starfleet chevron), but so is T'Pol, and in the double-page spread inside, so is (IIRC) Hoshi and Reed. Why is this?

And the article refers to the finale as These Are the Voyages..., complete with the ellipsis! Cool!

By Dan Gunther on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 - 2:20 pm:

No, Trip and T'Pol are wearing the generic Starfleet Command insignia on their patches, the Columbia patch features a view of the Columbia, with the name of the ship in red on the border. Other differences in the uniforms on the cover of TV Guide are nametags for the three of them, a feature never before seen on the Enterprise uniforms. Also, there are features on the shoulders of the uniforms that make them look like more current military uniforms. I can tell you why this is, but you'll have to scroll down to see the SPOILER:

The Enterprise-era part of the episode takes place six years after the current time in Enterprise. The Enterprise is returning to Earth to be decomissioned, and to witness the signing of the Federation Charter. Presumably, Trip and T'Pol have moved on to other positions by then, and the uniforms have been subtly updated. :)

I think having Enterprise on the cover of TV Guide was a waste of paper!

Think of how many trees had to die so that they could be wasted on such trash!

By Anonymous on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 - 11:41 pm:

Think of how many trees had to die so that they could be wasted on such trash!

The same number as if they wasted yet another cover on cr@p like Survivor or Americal Idol or any other show for that matter, cr@p or not.

It's a weekly magazine, and something's gotta go on the cover each week, why not Ent.?

By Anonymous on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 - 12:30 am:

Not to mention the time wasted posting on a board dedicated to a show that you don't like... wow...

By Anonymous on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 - 11:25 pm:

Uh, just for the record

"Anonymous on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 - 01:30 am:"

isn't the same anon as

"Anonymous on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 - 12:41 am:"

(I know 'cause 12:41 is me :))

(I really need to think up a name....)

By Dan Gunther on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 - 11:54 pm:

Aha! Luigi, I figured out the uniform question!!! The Starfleet Insignia is on one shoulder, while the ship/assignment patch is on the other shoulder!!!! See the pictures here:

One comment about Blalock's outfit: YOW!

Tighter! TIGHTER!!!!

By LUIGI NOVI on Thursday, April 14, 2005 - 2:09 pm:

Yeah, she actually looks attractive this season, and in those pics. But tighter, John? You'll suffocate her!

Anoymous (the 4.13.05 12:41am one): I really need to think up a name....
Luigi Novi: Well, duh, Anon. We've been telling people who post with that username for ages now! :)

By Anonymous on Thursday, April 14, 2005 - 2:22 pm:

Yeah, and until then, Anon, I can pretend to be YOU!!! BWA HA HA HA HA HA HAH!!!! But I won't. I'm nice that way. :)

By John A. Lang on Thursday, April 14, 2005 - 6:27 pm:

If she suffocates, I'll (gladly) give her mouth to mouth!

By Dan Gunther on Friday, April 15, 2005 - 11:22 am:

Interestingly enough, in those photos, Trip is back to wearing the Enterprise logo... can we assume he regains his former position on the Enterprise at some point?

Luigi Novi: Well, duh, Anon. We've been telling people who post with that username for ages now!

Point taken. Once I settle on a name, how do I register it anyway?

Looks like you asked that about 8 hrs and 38 mins too soon... ;)

By Dan Gunther on Saturday, April 16, 2005 - 11:27 pm:

Yeah, I know, my question was answered that very night! lol!

By LUIGI NOVI on Sunday, April 17, 2005 - 10:39 am:

Anon, there's no need to register a name, AFAIK. Just type it in the window when you post.

By Anonymous on Sunday, April 17, 2005 - 10:18 pm:

You mean I have to type it every time I post? Forget that. Clicking the anon box is easier!

By LUIGI NOVI on Sunday, May 01, 2005 - 11:31 am:

Richie, the ellipsis is missing from the episode These Are the Voyages... above.

By Somebody who likes to come up with ridiculously long usernames just to see what how long a username can be fitted into this little space and who has sometimes thought about going to gutenberg.com where they have texts of old books and public documents which are not in copyright, and you can download things like an etext of nineteenth century classic novels but I think they also have things like presidential speeches collected, and some of those etexts run to hundreds of pages and, anyway, I sometimes have wonder what would happen if I cut and pasted one of those long etexts into this space but I dont dare, I might crash the system, but its a fun thought, and if anybody else tries it dont blame me, I dont endorse anybody doing that, but anyway...um, I think thats all I can think of for this username, ciao, good night............ on Sunday, May 29, 2005 - 9:09 pm:

We have fun sometimes making up funny usernames. Feel free to browse. The Kitchen Sink board has lots of fun stuff. I do wonder how many different people are posting here? Seems like I keep running into the same people all over the place.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. :O

Did anybody else think Riker and Troi came across sounding a little condescending?

Only if you're a Geico caveman. :)

At least disable Anonymous posting.
